BYU, May Not Be for You!

Yo what's good again people I'm back with a lot more education to drop on you and this time its real talk. If you have cable, Facebook,or twitter I'm pretty sure you heard of the suspension of one Brandon Davis from the BYU basketball team for violation of the honor code. Most people are torn on this subject, with the gap being between mature older people and slightly less mature younger people. The older agrees with the suspension while most younger people don't. The main beef is older people agree with it because its what Brandon chose that hurt him not BYU. On the young side they disagree because they view this honor code as out of date and something that needs to be changed because its violates him as human to have a right to make his own decisions. The point is you are both right, but Brandon knew what he was signing and if he didn't this will be a wake up call on all ways read before you sign. He has to face it he broke the rules so he has to deal with it, and to me some of the younger people like me are being a little hypocritical because the ones who are mad about this are the same ones who aren't mad that Cam Newton didn't get suspended for the Allegations against him during the season(which I wasn't either I thought those allegations were stupid) but none the less you must be constant if Brandon didn't get suspended then that says BYU is not mAking him accountable for his actions and I never want my athletes to learn that. He needs to find out not that just because he is good at a sport don't mean everyone will let you slide even if its on the dumbest thing possible. What we all can take from this is the fact that BYU may not be for you, and the fact BYU mY need to restructure their honor code. If you are like me and wanted to know what he could have possibly done, while I was on twitter I asked a BYU alum(she was hot) what is in the code she said basically "no sex, no drugs, no drinking" basically no nothing that make a good college experience(mormons don't play that shit) but let me not say anything about the Mormons because I do not know enough Mormon religion to speculate. Basically BYU, if a person, not just an athlete, should be able to Fuck,Drink, and do drugs all they Damn well chose. Until BYU chose to change this it will not be the last time this will be an issue, and anyone who signs that honor code must be held to it no matter how dumb the rules may be. Everyone learn from this don't sign Shit if you don't like what it says and if you do don't get pissed when when they uphold the code! FBGM but I wish you the best BYU team unless you play Purdue! --Big Ish
